The 'rents were OK with the idea of paying for Cindy's college. They'd been planning on it for years and saving money accordingly. But Cindy's role in all of this was less certain. She knew she wanted to go to college for something business-related. Which was just a little - how do you say - vague?
And nothing against Cindy, but high school seniors are famously impulsive. If only her parents could put a little insurance on such a big investment. You know, something that could help Cindy make her decision on schools, classes, majors. Something that said, "Don't worry, you're not going to change your mind two semesters from now." Something that said, "This is right for you!"
And that's when Cindy found uSooth and its promise of Career Science accuracy. The parental units seemed to think it was a good investment and she was kind of curious herself.
So she submitted fully to the Career Science Machine. She answered questions, searched her inner works for the answers, considered things she'd never thought of before... And when the Career Selection Engineers came in and broke it down for her, she confessed a sense of relief.
She actually was suited for business.
But also law. And what's this? Politics?!
"It was reassurance more than anything else," Cindy said. And now that she was in college at The Ohio State University, she found herself taking classes outside of her business major. Pre-law classes, if you can believe it.
"And I do have an interest in them," she said. "I'm not sure I would have taken them if I hadn't done the uSooth program."
So Cindy opened a few new doorways of interest, her parents got a little insurance on their investment and they all lived happily ever after.
Ok, "ever after" is kind of a long time, but Cindy does seem to be more confident about her place in the world. As she said, "The uSooth experience definitely reassured me on several levels that this was the right career path for me."
