MeiLin Grunnagle

"When I got the results back, I thought it really covered everything, in a lot of different aspects."

As a high school student looking at college on the horizon, MeiLin was more job-focused than most. She knew what she was interested in - psychology - but couldn't really foresee a job match that would meet her interests and skills. Nothing looked appealing.

Adding to that was the fact that it was time for her to decide what school to attend and, you know, the other little thing of determining what she wanted to do with the rest of her life. That's a tall order for a young woman.

MeiLin already had her interests pinned down, so that was a start. The Career Scientists further ascertained she valued organization, being part of a group and work that was more logical than creative. All of that was dead on, she agreed.

What surprised her was the way they thought these skills, as well as an interest in psychology, might pair up nicely with a nursing career.

"I've always liked medicine and that sort of field, but toward the psych side of things," she said. "I was really shocked I had such strong scores related to nursing!"

MeiLin then took that insight and the others provided by uSooth to heart. The experience taught her to broaden her outlook and consider many paths she'd never thought of before. And, in the end, it showed her there were plenty of interesting careers where her interests, aptitudes and values met.

MeiLin also noted how glad she was to have put the time into the evaluations. She was no stranger to online surveys before this, but never really had much success with them. uSooth was a horse of a different color.

"When I got the results back, I thought it really covered everything, in a lot of different aspects," she said.

And there was yet another difference between uSooth and the quizzes she'd taken before.

"After I took the tests, we sat down one-on-one and discussed the results," she said, sounding amazed. "They asked me how I felt about each part and if it related to what I originally thought. I definitely understood my results far better than I could have by simply reading them."

So MeiLin can attest that, with uSooth, you don't just get printouts or generalizations. You get an atomic analysis, specific to you, verified by Career Science.
